The East Corridor EIS will consider possible impacts alternatives may have on a variety of social, environmental, and economic resources. These resources include:

- Land Use, Zoning, and Economic Development
- Land Acquisition, Displacements and Relocations of Existing Uses
- Historic, Archaeological, and Cultural Resources
- Visual and Aesthetic Qualities
- Parklands and Recreation Areas
- Air Quality and Energy
- Noise and Vibration
- Biological Resources
- Natural Resources
- Hazardous Materials
- Safety and Security
- Utilities
- Transit Operations
- Traffic and Circulation
- Capital Costs
- Operation and Maintenance Costs
- Ability to Obtain Federal Funding
Specific technical studies will be developed for each resource as part of the DEIS.
