The Ravens were disappointed not to land all-world cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha in the offseason, and the degree to which this defense dominates will likely hinge on its cornerback play. The Ravens used a first-round pick on a cornerback, Jimmy Smith, who will see lots of playing time and possibly will even start. If the other corners hold up and play well, the team is so loaded with playmakers in its front seven that it can shut down any offense.
